Getting There

  • Bus

    From the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 19th Street and Pacific Avenue. Board the HRT Bus Route 20 towards the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Witchduck Road and Virginia Beach Boulevard. Transfer to Bus Route 23 towards the Chesapeake area. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Cheswick Lane and North Great Neck Road. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes north on Cheswick Lane until you reach the Ferry Plantation House, located at 4136 Cheswick Ln.

    If you prefer to bike, start from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and head west on 17th Street towards Pacific Avenue. Continue on Pacific Avenue until you reach the intersection with Virginia Beach Boulevard. Turn left onto Virginia Beach Boulevard and follow it west for about 2 miles. Turn right onto North Great Neck Road and continue until you reach Cheswick Lane. Turn left on Cheswick Lane and bike about half a mile to reach the Ferry Plantation House at 4136 Cheswick Ln.

    From the Virginia Beach Town Center, head east on Main Street towards Independence Boulevard. Turn left onto Independence Boulevard and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach Virginia Beach Boulevard. Turn right and walk along Virginia Beach Boulevard for another mile. When you reach the intersection with North Great Neck Road, turn left and continue until you reach Cheswick Lane.
