If you are in the Virginia Beach Oceanfront area, you can take the public bus, known as The Tide. Head to the nearest bus stop and board the Route 20 bus, which travels south along Virginia Beach Boulevard. Make sure to pay your fare when you get on. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'General Booth Blvd' stop. After getting off, walk south along General Booth Blvd for about 5 minutes. You will see the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center on your left at 717 General Booth Blvd.

If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from a local rental shop near the Oceanfront. Head south along the boardwalk and then follow the designated bike paths until you reach the intersection of General Booth Blvd and Virginia Beach Blvd. Turn left onto General Booth Blvd and continue riding for about 2 miles until you arrive at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, which will be on your right at 717 General Booth Blvd.

For those who are close enough to walk, start from the Virginia Beach Boardwalk at 17th Street. Head south towards the 'General Booth Blvd' intersection. Continue walking south on General Booth Blvd for about 1.5 miles. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center located on your left at 717 General Booth Blvd.
