From the Newport News city center, walk to the nearest bus stop on 25th Street. Take the Hampton Roads Transit bus route 116 towards Williamsburg. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. When you reach the 'Water Country Parkway' stop, get off the bus. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Water Country USA on your right at 176 Water Country Pkwy.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and want to use a bike, you can rent one from a local bike rental shop in Newport News. Once you have your bike, head south towards the James River. Follow the scenic bike trails along the river, which will lead you towards Williamsburg. The distance is about 12 miles, so it will take around 1 hour to bike there. Once you reach Water Country Parkway, follow the signs to Water Country USA, which will be on your left.
