Walking
Start your journey at the Bellingham city center, specifically at the Bellingham Public Library located at 210 Central Ave. From there, head south on Central Ave towards W Champion St. Turn right onto W Champion St and continue until you reach the intersection with N State St. Turn left onto N State St and walk straight for about 0.5 miles. This will take you to the intersection with W Holly St. Continue straight, and you will come across the Bellingham Bay. At the Bay, take a right onto the waterfront trail. Follow this trail north along the waterfront for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass several parks and enjoy beautiful views of the water along the way. Eventually, the trail will lead you to the I-5 overpass. Once you reach the overpass, the Bellingham Rock Landmark will be visible on your right. It is a short walk from the trail to the landmark.
Public Transit
Begin at the Bellingham Bay Transit Center located at 1000 C St. Take the Route 7 bus towards the Fairhaven Terminal. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Samish Way & I-5' stop. From there, walk east towards the I-5 overpass. The Bellingham Rock Landmark will be visible just a short distance from the bus stop on your left. It is a popular site, so you should find signage or other visitors to guide you.
Bicycling
If you prefer to bike, start from Fairhaven Park located at 1074 12th St. Head north on 12th St until you reach Harris Ave. Turn left on Harris Ave and continue until you hit the waterfront trail. Follow the waterfront trail north for about 3 miles, enjoying the scenic views. Once you reach the I-5 overpass, you can dismount and walk your bike to the Bellingham Rock Landmark, which will be just past the overpass on your right.
