From downtown Bellingham, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) bus route 1 towards 'Samish Way'. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'S Samish Way & Lake Padden Park'. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown Bellingham. Start by heading south on Cornwall Ave, which will turn into Samish Way. Follow Samish Way for about 3 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Lake Padden Park. The park entrance will be on your right.

For those who want to walk, start from the Bellingham City Center. Head south on Cornwall Ave until you reach the intersection with Samish Way. Turn left onto Samish Way and walk along this road for about 3 miles. You will see the signs for Lake Padden Park on your right. The walk will take approximately 1 hour.
