Ferry
To get to Bainbridge Island from Bremerton, start at the Bremerton Ferry Terminal located at 100 Washington Ave. From the terminal, board the Washington State Ferry to Bainbridge Island. The ferry ride takes about 35 minutes and provides beautiful views of the Puget Sound. Once you arrive at Bainbridge Island, you'll be right in the heart of the island, ready to explore its attractions.
Public Bus
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Kitsap Transit bus service. Head to the Kitsap Transit bus stop near the Bremerton Ferry Terminal and board the bus heading towards the Bainbridge Island Ferry. After a short ride, you will arrive at the Bainbridge Island terminal, where you can board the ferry. The bus schedule is frequent, but be sure to check the timings ahead of your trip.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Bremerton and ride to the ferry terminal. Once at the Bremerton Ferry Terminal, park your bicycle and board the ferry to Bainbridge Island. The ferry is bike-friendly, allowing you to take your bike along. Enjoy the ride across the sound and explore Bainbridge Island at your own pace once you arrive!
Walking
If you're already in downtown Bremerton, you can take a scenic walk to the Bremerton Ferry Terminal. From the central area, head towards Washington Ave and follow the signs toward the waterfront. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk. Once you reach the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket and board the ferry to Bainbridge Island.
