Car
If you're driving from Seattle, take I-90 E for about 140 miles, then merge onto US-97 N towards Wenatchee. Continue on US-97 N for about 30 miles until you reach the town of Chelan. Once in Chelan, turn onto WA-150 E and follow it for approximately 7 miles. Finally, turn left onto S Lakeshore Rd, and the entrance to Lake Chelan State Park will be on your right. Make sure to budget for gas and any tolls along the way.
Car
From Spokane, take I-90 W for around 110 miles, then merge onto US-2 W towards Wenatchee. After about 50 miles, merge onto US-97 S. Continue on US-97 S for about 40 miles until you reach Chelan. Follow the same directions as above to reach the park.
Public Transportation
If you’re using public transportation, take a Greyhound bus from Seattle or Spokane to Chelan. The journey may take approximately 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive in Chelan, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Lake Chelan State Park, which is about 7 miles away. Be sure to check the Greyhound schedule ahead of time for availability and pricing.
Taxi/Rideshare
Upon arriving in Chelan, you can use local taxi services or rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft to reach Lake Chelan State Park. The fare should be around $15-$25 depending on traffic conditions and the exact pickup location.
