Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Seattle, take I-90 East towards Ellensburg. After about 90 miles, take exit 106 for US-97 North towards Wenatchee. Continue on US-97 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the town of Pateros. From Pateros, take WA-20 East. Follow WA-20 for about 47 miles. You'll pass through the scenic North Cascades National Park. Look for signs for the Washington Pass Observation Site as you approach Mazama, WA. The site will be on your right. There is no fee to access the observation site.

  Start your journey by taking a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train to Wenatchee, WA. From Wenatchee, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the town of Mazama, approximately 70 miles away. Alternatively, check for local shuttle services that may operate to Mazama. Once in Mazama, you can drive or walk to the Washington Pass Observation Site, which is located nearby.
