Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Tacoma, WA. From Central Washington, take I-90 W towards Seattle. Merge onto I-5 S towards Tacoma. Take exit 133 for S 38th St. Keep left at the fork and follow the signs for S 38th St. Continue on S 38th St and merge onto N Stadium Way. The Washington State Historical Society will be on your right at 315 N Stadium Way, Tacoma, WA 98403. There is public parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach the Washington State Historical Society using public transportation, take a Greyhound or other regional bus service to Tacoma. Once in Tacoma, transfer to the Tacoma Link Light Rail at the Tacoma Dome Station. Ride the light rail towards the Theater District and get off at the S 9th St stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.5 miles) north on Broadway, then turn left onto N Stadium Way, where you'll find the Washington State Historical Society at 315 N Stadium Way. Make sure to check the bus and light rail schedules in advance, as well as any applicable fares.
