Getting There

  • Car

    From Deception Pass State Park, get onto State Route 20 (SR 20) heading east. Follow SR 20 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with Interstate 5 (I-5). Merge onto I-5 South and continue for about 20 miles. Take exit 202 for State Route 530 toward Arlington. Merge onto State Route 530 NE and follow it for about 8 miles. The Outback Kangaroo Farm will be located on your right at 10030 State Rte 530 NE, Arlington, WA 98223. Remember to look for signage as you approach.

  • Public Transportation

    From Deception Pass State Park, you will first need to get to the nearest public transportation hub. There isn’t a direct bus from the park, so you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to get to the nearest bus stop on SR 20. Once you reach the bus stop, take the Skagit Transit Route 90 towards Mount Vernon. Once you reach the Mount Vernon Transit Center, transfer to the Community Transit Route 201 towards Arlington. Get off at the stop closest to the Outback Kangaroo Farm on State Route 530. Please check the current schedules for both Skagit Transit and Community Transit as times may vary. Additionally, be prepared for a walk from the bus stop to the farm.
