From Federal Way Transit Center, board the Sound Transit Express Bus 586 heading towards Seattle. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 5th Ave & Pine St in Seattle. Once you disembark, walk east on Pine St for about 5 minutes until you reach Capitol Hill.

From Federal Way Transit Center, take the Sounder train (South Line) towards Seattle. Get off at the Seattle King Street Station. From there, transfer to the Link Light Rail and head towards the University of Washington Station. Disembark at Capitol Hill Station. Once you exit, walk north on Broadway Ave E for about 5 minutes to reach Capitol Hill.

Bicycle
If you enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program in Federal Way. Start from the Federal Way Transit Center and head north on 1st Ave S. Continue until you reach S 348th St and turn left onto S 348th St. Follow the bike paths until you reach the Interurban Trail, which will lead you directly to Seattle. Once you get closer to Capitol Hill, navigate onto Broadway Ave E to arrive at your destination.

If you’re feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Federal Way Transit Center and head north on Pacific Hwy S. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S 348th St. Turn left and walk towards the Highway 509 trail. Follow the trail towards Seattle. This is a lengthy walk (approximately 12 miles) and may take several hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
