From anywhere in Federal Way, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Sound Transit Route 586 bus towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Pine St & 4th Ave' stop. From there, transfer to the Link Light Rail at Westlake Station. Take the light rail towards Northgate and get off at the 'University Street Station'. Exit the station and walk northwest on 3rd Ave towards Harrison St. Turn left onto Harrison St and walk about 0.5 miles. Chihuly Garden and Glass will be on your right at 305 Harrison St.

If you're staying in a central area of Federal Way, you can also walk to a nearby bus stop that services the Sound Transit buses. Once you reach the bus stop, follow the instructions above for public transit. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk the entire distance, it is about 16 miles to Chihuly Garden and Glass. You can follow Pacific Hwy S to the north, and then take 4th Ave until you reach Harrison St. However, this is a long walk and may not be advisable for most tourists.
