This journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Federal Way Transit Center, transfer to Pierce Transit Bus Route 1, which heads towards the 'Dash Point Park' area. After about 15 minutes on Route 1, get off at the '308th St SW & 44th Ave SW' stop. From there, it's a short 5-10 minute walk to Dumas Bay Sanctuary. Head south on 44th Ave SW, and you will find the sanctuary at 30844 44th Ave SW.

    Walking

    If you are located near the center of Federal Way, you can walk to Dumas Bay Sanctuary. Start at the Federal Way Community Center. Head south on 20th Ave SW, continuing until you reach SW 312th St. Turn left and walk east until you reach 44th Ave SW. Turn right on 44th Ave SW and continue walking south for about 15-20 minutes. Dumas Bay Sanctuary will be located on your left at 30844 44th Ave SW.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop or use a bike-sharing service. Begin your ride at the Federal Way Community Center. Head south on 20th Ave SW, and then take a right onto SW 312th St. Continue east until you reach 44th Ave SW. Turn right and pedal south for about 1.5 miles. Dumas Bay Sanctuary will be on your left at 30844 44th Ave SW. The bike ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed.
