From the Federal Way Transit Center, take Bus Route 186 towards North Bend. Ensure you board the bus at the designated stop. Stay on the bus for approximately 35 minutes until you reach the stop at Cedar Falls Rd SE & SE 192nd St. Once you disembark, head east on Cedar Falls Rd SE for about 1 mile until you reach the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area entrance on your left.

Start your journey at the Federal Way Community Center. Head north on 20th Ave S, then turn left onto S 348th St. Follow this road as it becomes S 336th St and then continue onto Cedar Heights Dr. Once you reach the intersection with Cedar Falls Rd SE, turn right. Continue for approximately 6 miles, and the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area will be on your right.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and have good walking shoes, start at the Federal Way Community Center. Head east on S 348th St until you reach 20th Ave S. Continue north until you reach S 336th St, then take a left. Follow S 336th St as it transitions to Cedar Heights Dr. Walk straight on Cedar Falls Rd SE for about 6 miles until you arrive at the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area entrance on your right. Please note this is a long walk, so be prepared with water and snacks!
