Public Transit - Bus
From Federal Way Transit Center, take Sound Transit bus route 586 towards Seattle. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest timings. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes, and get off at the stop at 6th Ave & James St. From there, walk east on James St for about 0.3 miles until you reach 18th Ave. Turn left on 18th Ave, and you will find Old Fire Station #23 at 722 18th Ave. The total walking distance from the bus stop is about 5-7 minutes.

If you are already near downtown Federal Way, you can walk to Old Fire Station #23. Start at the Federal Way Community Center and head north on 20th Ave SW. Continue walking until you reach SW 320th St, then turn left. Continue on SW 320th St until you reach Pacific Hwy S, and turn right. Follow Pacific Hwy S until you reach the bus stop for Sound Transit route 586, then take the bus as previously described. This walking route is approximately 1.5 miles and can take around 30 minutes.
