Getting There

• Public Transit - Light Rail

  If you are near the University of Washington or Capitol Hill, take the Link Light Rail from either the University of Washington Station or Capitol Hill Station towards Angle Lake Station. Get off at the Pioneer Square Station, which is about a 20-minute ride. From Pioneer Square, exit the station and walk east on Yesler Way for about 4 blocks, then turn right on Terry Avenue. The Frye Art Museum will be on your left at 704 Terry Ave.

• Public Transit - Bus

  You can catch several bus routes that stop near the Frye Art Museum. For instance, if you're at Pike Place Market, walk to the bus stop at 1st Ave & Pike St. Take Bus #2 or #12 towards Madrona. Get off at the stop on 7th Ave & Columbia St. From there, walk east on Columbia St for 2 blocks, then turn left on Terry Avenue. The Frye Art Museum will be on your right at 704 Terry Ave.

  If you are staying in downtown Seattle, the Frye Art Museum is a pleasant walk. Start at the Washington State Convention Center, and walk east on Pine St. Continue on Pine St until you reach 7th Ave, then turn left. Walk north on 7th Ave for about 5 blocks until you reach Columbia St. Turn right on Columbia and walk for 2 blocks. Turn left onto Terry Ave, and you will find the museum at 704 Terry Ave.
