After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Capitol Hill Station' stop. From there, walk east on E John St towards 15th Ave E, then turn left onto 15th Ave E. Volunteer Park will be on your right at 1247 15th Ave E.

  • Light Rail

    Begin your journey at the Kent Station. Take the Sounder train or Sound Transit Link Light Rail towards Seattle. Disembark at the 'University of Washington Station'. From here, walk northwest on Brooklyn Ave NE, then turn right onto NE 45th St. Continue until you reach University Ave NE, where you will catch the bus number 49 towards 'Capitol Hill'. Get off at 'Volunteer Park' stop, located close to your destination at 1247 15th Ave E.

  • Bike

    If you're up for a ride, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Kent. Head north on 4th Ave N, then take a left onto E James St, which will lead you to the Green River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the south end of Lake Washington, then follow the shoreline trail towards Seattle. Eventually, take the road to Capitol Hill and navigate to 15th Ave E.
