Bus
From downtown Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop on 3rd St and Central Way. Take the Metro bus route 242 towards Seattle. Ride the bus for approximately 20-25 minutes. Get off at the stop at 15th Ave E & E Prospect St. From there, walk east on E Prospect St towards 15th Ave E. Turn left on 15th Ave E and continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach Volunteer Park at 1247 15th Ave E.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing programs available in Kirkland. Start your ride on the Kirkland Waterfront Trail heading south towards Seattle. Stay on the trail until you reach the intersection with NE 70th St. Turn left onto NE 70th St and then take a right onto 15th Ave E. Continue riding on 15th Ave E for about 4 miles until you reach Volunteer Park. Make sure to ride safely and follow local bike rules.

Turn right on 15th Ave E and walk about 5 miles until you arrive at Volunteer Park.
