Walking
From downtown Kirkland, head east on Kirkland Avenue towards 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Central Way. Cross Central Way and continue straight onto 7th Avenue. Follow 7th Avenue as it curves into Lake Street South. Keep walking along Lake Street until you reach the waterfront. Once you arrive at the waterfront, follow the shoreline path heading north. After walking about 0.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Waverly Beach Park on your left at 633 Waverly Park Way.

Take the King County Metro bus #234 or #235 from the Kirkland Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards the Juanita area. Get off at the stop near 6th Street and Central Way. From there, walk east along 6th Street, and then turn left onto 7th Avenue. Continue to follow 7th Avenue until it curves into Lake Street South. Walk along Lake Street towards the waterfront, and follow the shoreline path heading north. After about 0.5 miles, you will arrive at Waverly Beach Park, located at 633 Waverly Park Way.
