Getting There
Bus
From Marysville, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Marysville Transit Center. Take the Community Transit bus route 201 toward Coupeville. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest departure times. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Coupeville stop. Once you exit the bus, walk west on Main Street until you reach Hill Valley Drive. Turn right onto Hill Valley Drive and continue walking until you see the entrance to Fort Ebey State Park on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start from the center of Marysville and head west on 4th Street, which will merge into State Avenue. Continue on State Avenue until you reach the intersection with Highway 20. Use the bike lanes to safely cross the highway and follow the signs toward Coupeville. The distance is about 16 miles, so plan for a leisurely ride with breaks. Upon reaching Coupeville, follow the same directions to Hill Valley Drive and turn left to find Fort Ebey State Park.
Walking
For an adventurous walking route, start at the Marysville City Hall and head south on 4th Street. Continue until you reach State Avenue, then take a right. Walk along State Avenue until you reach the intersection with Highway 20. Cross carefully using the pedestrian crossing. Continue straight on Highway 20; it will lead you through some beautiful scenic areas but be mindful of traffic. Once you arrive in Coupeville, turn right onto Hill Valley Drive and walk until you reach Fort Ebey State Park. This walk is approximately 16 miles, so it may take several hours.
