Car
From Mount Baker, start your journey by getting onto WA-542 E (Mount Baker Highway). Follow WA-542 E for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with WA-20. Turn left onto WA-20 W, which is also known as North Cascades Highway. Continue on WA-20 W for about 35 miles until you reach the entrance to North Cascades National Park. There is a vehicle entrance fee of $30, valid for seven days, which you will need to pay at the entrance station.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus from Mount Baker to the nearest town with bus services, which is Bellingham. From Mount Baker, you can catch the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) bus service to Bellingham. Once in Bellingham, take a Greyhound or Amtrak bus to Sedro-Woolley.
