From Mount Baker, take the Mount Baker Highway (WA-542 E). Follow WA-542 E for approximately 25 miles. You will pass through the small town of Glacier. Continue driving until you reach the parking area for the Skyline Divide Trailhead, located on your left near milepost 34. There is a small parking lot, and a Northwest Forest Pass is required to park here, which costs $5 for a day pass or $30 for an annual pass.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is no direct public transportation to the Skyline Divide Trailhead. However, you can take a Greyhound or local shuttle service to Bellingham, WA. From Bellingham, you would need to arrange for a rideshare service or taxi to take you to the Skyline Divide Trailhead, as public transport options are limited in this area. Once you arrive at the Skyline Divide Trailhead parking area, you will see a clearly marked trailhead.
