Getting There

  If you're driving from Seattle, take I-5 North towards Everett. Continue on I-5 until you reach Exit 221 for WA-20 towards Burlington/Anacortes. Follow WA-20 East for approximately 30 miles until you see signs for Concrete. In Concrete, turn left onto Main Street, which will become NF-11. Follow NF-11 for about 11 miles, and you will arrive at the Baker River Trailhead. There are no tolls on this route.

• Public Transportation

  For travelers using public transport, take an Amtrak train to Mount Vernon. From Mount Vernon, you can catch the Skagit Transit Route 70 bus towards Concrete. The bus will take you to Concrete, where you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Baker River Trailhead on NF-11, which is approximately 11 miles away. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for timings, as service may be limited.
