Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Rockport, WA. Head east on State Route 20 (North Cascades Highway). After approximately 5 miles, look for the sign for Thunder Creek Trailhead on your right. There is a parking lot available at the trailhead, but be aware that it can fill up quickly on weekends and holidays. There is no fee to park at the trailhead.
Public Transportation
Unfortunately, there are no direct public transportation options to Thunder Creek Trailhead. However, you can take a bus to Rockport, WA, which is served by the Skagit Transit system. From Rockport, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining 5 miles to the trailhead. Make sure to check the latest bus schedules and availability, as service may vary.
Hiking
