From the Olympic National Park visitor center, head southeast on US-101 S. Continue on US-101 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach I-5 N. Merge onto I-5 N and continue for about 60 miles. Take exit 165A for WA-520 W toward Bellevue/Seattle. Continue on WA-520 W for approximately 8 miles until it merges into I-90 W. Follow I-90 W for about 10 miles and then take exit 2 for I-5 N. Merge onto I-5 N and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 164B for James St toward Seattle. Continue onto James St, then turn right onto 4th Ave. Afterward, turn left onto Alaskan Way Viaduct and follow the signs for West Seattle. Finally, take the exit toward the West Seattle Bridge, which will lead you to Alki Ave SW. Continue on Alki Ave SW for approximately 3 miles to reach Alki Point Lighthouse at 3201 Alki Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at the Olympic National Park visitor center. Take a bus to the nearest transit hub, then board a Greyhound or Amtrak bus heading towards Seattle. Upon arriving at Seattle, transfer to the Metro Transit system. You can take the Metro Bus route 50 or 775 from downtown Seattle to West Seattle. Once you arrive in West Seattle, the closest stop to Alki Point Lighthouse is at Alki Ave SW & 63rd Ave SW. From there, it's a short walk down Alki Ave SW, approximately 0.5 miles, to reach Alki Point Lighthouse at 3201 Alki Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary.
