From anywhere in Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop that serves King County Metro. Take bus route 542 towards Seattle. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Pine St & 2nd Ave' stop. Walk west along Pine St for about 0.2 miles until you reach the Seattle Waterfront. From there, head south along Alaskan Way for about 0.3 miles. The Overlook Walk will be on your right at 1505 Alaskan Way.

If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from a local bike shop in Redmond. Start by heading south on the Sammamish River Trail, which connects to the Burke-Gilman Trail.
