If you're driving, head towards downtown Seattle and take the Alaskan Way Viaduct (SR 99) exit. Follow the signs for Alaskan Way and continue straight until you reach Pier 59. The Seattle Aquarium will be on your right at 1483 Alaskan Way. There are several parking options in the area, including street parking and parking garages nearby.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Seattle Aquarium via public transportation, you can take Metro Bus routes that service the downtown area. Look for routes that stop near the Seattle Waterfront, such as the 1, 2, or 3. Get off at the stop for 1st Avenue & Pike Street, then walk down to Alaskan Way. Turn right and walk south until you reach Pier 59 at 1483 Alaskan Way. The journey should take about 30 minutes from central Seattle.

Take the Link Light Rail to the Westlake Station. From Westlake, you can either walk or catch a bus to the waterfront. If walking, exit the station and head west on Pine Street until you reach 1st Avenue. Turn left on 1st Avenue and walk down to Pike Place Market. From there, follow the waterfront south until you reach Pier 59 at 1483 Alaskan Way. This route is a pleasant 20-minute walk.
