    Car

    If you're driving from downtown Seattle, head northwest on 6th Ave toward Denny Way. Continue onto Elliott Ave W and follow signs for WA-99 N. Take the exit toward WA-520 E and merge onto WA-520 E. Follow WA-520 E to I-5 N. Merge onto I-5 N and take exit 169 for N 85th St. Turn left onto N 85th St, then right onto 24th Ave NW. Continue onto NW 57th St and follow it until you reach the entrance to Discovery Park. Drive through the park and follow the signs to West Point Lighthouse. Note that parking may have a fee, typically around $1.50 per hour.

    Public Transportation

    From downtown Seattle, take the Metro bus route 29 from the Seattle Center to Discovery Park. The bus will drop you off at the visitor center. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles through Discovery Park to reach the West Point Lighthouse. Be prepared for a scenic walk, but also a hilly terrain.
