Bus
From downtown Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop at 164th Ave NE & Cleveland St. Take Bus 542 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the University District. Transfer to Bus 70 towards West Seattle. Ride for about 15 minutes. Finally, get off at the Fremont Bridge stop. You'll see the bridge from there; just walk a few minutes to get to the viewing area.
Bicycle
Start from downtown Redmond and head west on the Redmond Central Connector Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Sammamish River Trail. Continue south along the river until you reach the Burke-Gilman Trail. Take a left onto the Burke-Gilman Trail heading west. Follow this trail for about 7 miles until you reach Fremont. The Fremont Bridge will be on your right; it’s a scenic ride and should take about 40-50 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from Redmond Town Center. Head west on NE 85th St, then turn left onto 164th Ave NE. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with NE 51st St, and then take a right. Follow NE 51st St as it turns into the Sammamish River Trail. Walk along the river for about 7 miles. When you reach the intersection with the Burke-Gilman Trail, take a left and continue until you see the Fremont Bridge ahead. This walk will take about 2-3 hours.
