    From Renton, head to the Renton Transit Center located at 200 Mill Ave S. Take the Sound Transit Route 586 bus heading north towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'University of Washington Station'. Transfer to the Link Light Rail at the University of Washington Station. Take the light rail towards Angle Lake and get off at the 'Capitol Hill Station'. From there, catch the Metro bus Route 11 heading towards Madison Park. After a short ride, get off at the stop near Arboretum Dr & Lake Washington Blvd. Walk east on Arboretum Dr E for about 5 minutes to arrive at Washington Park Arboretum.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Renton. Start your ride heading north on Lake Washington Blvd NE, which will take you along the scenic lakefront. Continue on Lake Washington Blvd until you reach the intersection with Arboretum Dr E.
