Public Transit
From Renton, head to the Renton Transit Center located at 200 Mill Ave S. Take the Sound Transit Route 586 bus heading north towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'University of Washington Station'. Transfer to the Link Light Rail at the University of Washington Station. Take the light rail towards Angle Lake and get off at the 'Capitol Hill Station'. From there, catch the Metro bus Route 11 heading towards Madison Park. After a short ride, get off at the stop near Arboretum Dr & Lake Washington Blvd. Walk east on Arboretum Dr E for about 5 minutes to arrive at Washington Park Arboretum.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Renton. Start your ride heading north on Lake Washington Blvd NE, which will take you along the scenic lakefront. Continue on Lake Washington Blvd until you reach the intersection with Arboretum Dr E. Turn left onto Arboretum Dr E and follow the road for a short distance until you arrive at the Washington Park Arboretum entrance.
Walking
For those who enjoy a longer stroll, you can walk from downtown Renton to the Washington Park Arboretum. Start at the Renton City Hall and head north on 3rd St NE towards the Cedar River Trail. Follow the trail until you reach Lake Washington Blvd. Continue walking along Lake Washington Blvd for about 5 miles. Once you reach the junction with Arboretum Dr E, turn left and walk for another 10 minutes to reach the entrance of the Washington Park Arboretum.
