Bus
If you're starting from downtown Seattle, head to the nearest bus stop. Take Metro Bus Route 26, which can be caught at various stops along 3rd Avenue. Ride the bus northbound for about 20 minutes until you reach the Northlake Way & N 40th St stop. From there, walk east on N 40th St, then take a left onto N Northlake Way. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Gas Works Park at 2101 N Northlake Way.
Light Rail and Bus
From the Westlake Station in downtown, take the Link Light Rail toward Northgate. Get off at the University of Washington station. Once you exit, transfer to Metro Bus Route 71 or 73, heading towards the north. Travel for about 10 minutes and get off at the Northlake Way & N 40th St stop. Walk east on N 40th St, then turn left onto N Northlake Way. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, and you'll arrive at Gas Works Park.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Seattle. Start from downtown and head north via the Burke-Gilman Trail. The trail is well-marked and will take you directly to Gas Works Park. After approximately a 30-minute ride, you'll arrive at the park entrance located at 2101 N Northlake Way.
Walking
For those who enjoy a longer walk, start from downtown Seattle and head north on 1st Avenue toward the Seattle Center. Continue on 1st Avenue, then turn left onto N 45th St. Follow the road as it curves and turns into N Northlake Way. Gas Works Park is located at 2101 N Northlake Way, and the walk will take approximately 1 hour, offering scenic views along the way.
