Walking
If you are starting from Pike Place Market, walk south on 1st Avenue towards Yesler Way. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach Pioneer Square. As you enter Pioneer Square, look for the Pioneer Square Totem Pole located at the corner of 1st Avenue and Yesler Way, just in front of the Pioneer Building.
Light Rail
If you are at the Westlake Station, take the Link Light Rail heading south towards Angle Lake. Get off at Pioneer Square Station (the ride takes about 10 minutes). Once you exit the station, walk east on James Street until you reach 1st Avenue. Turn left and walk north for two blocks until you arrive at the Pioneer Square Totem Pole, located at the corner of 1st Avenue and Yesler Way.
Bus
If you are near Seattle Center, you can take bus number 1, 2, or 3 from the Seattle Center stop. Ride until you reach the stop at 3rd Avenue and Yesler Way. From there, walk south on 3rd Avenue for one block, then turn left onto Yesler Way. Continue walking for about two blocks until you reach 1st Avenue. The Pioneer Square Totem Pole will be on your left at the corner of 1st Avenue and Yesler Way.
