From downtown Seattle, head to the Westlake Station located at 4th Ave & Pine St. Purchase a ticket for the Sound Transit Link Light Rail. Board the train heading South towards Tacoma Dome Station. Stay on the train for approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at Tacoma Dome Station, transfer to the Tacoma Link Light Rail. Board the Tacoma Link heading towards Theater District. Get off at the Union Station stop, which is your destination.

Go to the Seattle Greyhound Station located at 503 S Royal Brougham Way. From there, catch a Greyhound bus to Tacoma. The trip will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Tacoma, walk to the nearest Tacoma Link Light Rail station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Board the Tacoma Link Light Rail heading towards Theater District, and get off at the Union Station stop.
