If you're driving from Spokane River, head northwest on N Howard St toward W Riverside Ave. Continue onto W 1st Ave, and then take the ramp onto I-90 W. Merge onto I-90 W and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 280B for US-2 W toward Newport and continue for about 14 miles. Take a left onto W Charles Rd and follow the signs to Riverside State Park, located at 9711 W Charles Rd, Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026. Keep in mind that there may be a parking fee at the park entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Riverside State Park using public transportation, start by taking the Spokane Transit Authority bus route 25 from downtown Spokane. The bus will take you to the nearest stop, which is the intersection of US-2 and W Charles Rd. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles to the park entrance at 9711 W Charles Rd, Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026. Please check the current bus schedule for exact times and transfer options, as well as any fares required for the bus ride.
Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can follow the Spokane River Centennial Trail. Start at any point along the trail in Spokane River and head northwest towards Nine Mile Falls. The trail is well-marked and offers scenic views along the river. The ride will take you roughly 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach W Charles Rd, follow it to the entrance of Riverside State Park at 9711 W Charles Rd, Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water.
