    Getting There

    Public Transit - Bus

    Start from downtown Spokane, where you can catch the Spokane Transit Authority bus route 25 at the Spokane Intermodal Center (which is at 221 W Riverside Ave). Board the bus heading towards Nine Mile Falls. Ride for approximately 45 minutes and get off at the 'Riverside State Park' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading into the park entrance, which is located at 9711 W Charles Rd. The park is well marked, and you should be able to find your way in easily.

    Biking

    From downtown Spokane, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Head northwest on Riverside Ave toward N Howard St. Continue onto N Howard St, then turn right onto W Main Ave. Follow the Spokane River Trail, which leads out of the city and towards Riverside State Park. The scenic bike path will take you through beautiful areas along the river and into the park. It should take about 1-1.5 hours to reach the park, depending on your speed.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk, you can start from Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane. Head northwest on N Howard St, then turn left onto W Main Ave. You'll then need to follow the Spokane River Trail heading northwest. This is a longer trek, approximately 8 miles one way, and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. The trail is scenic and follows the river, offering beautiful views along the way. Once you reach Riverside State Park, you’ll find the entrance at 9711 W Charles Rd.
