Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you're starting from downtown Spokane, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing services. Head north on N Howard St until you reach Riverside Ave, then turn right. Continue on Riverside Ave until you reach N Maple St, where you will turn left. Follow N Maple St until you reach Spokane Falls Blvd, then turn right. You'll be on the Centennial Trail, which you can follow all the way to N Nine Mile Rd. Once you reach N Nine Mile Rd, follow it north until you see the signs for the Spokane House Interpretive Center.

    From downtown Spokane, take the Spokane Transit Authority bus route 9 towards Nine Mile Falls. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop on W Riverside Ave. You will need to pay your fare, which can be done with cash or a transit pass. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to N Nine Mile Rd. From there, walk north along N Nine Mile Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Spokane House Interpretive Center.
