    From downtown Tacoma, head to the Tacoma Dome Station, which is located at 1001 Puyallup Ave. Take the Sound Transit Route 586 bus towards Federal Way Transit Center. Once you arrive at the Federal Way Transit Center, transfer to Route 186 towards Dash Point State Park. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Dash Point Rd & SW 57th St stop. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles east on SW Dash Point Rd to reach the park entrance.

    If you prefer to bike, start at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. Ride south along the waterfront on the Ruston Way path until you reach the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue onto SR 16, following bike lanes until you reach the Federal Way area. Once in Federal Way, navigate to SW Dash Point Rd, and follow it to the park entrance. The total distance is approximately 17 miles, so plan accordingly.
