    Getting There

    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of The Blue Mountains and head towards the nearest major highway. Depending on your starting point, you may take WA-12 E or WA-410 E to reach I-5 N. Once on I-5 N, continue for about 80 miles until you reach the exit for WA-542 E towards Mt. Baker. Follow WA-542 for approximately 27 miles, where you will see signs for Mt. Baker Ski Area. The ski area is located at Mt Baker Hwy, Deming, WA 98244. Be mindful of the weather, as conditions can change rapidly in the mountains, and check for any road closures or chain requirements during winter months.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from The Blue Mountains to Bellingham. From Bellingham, you will need to take the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) bus route 232, which goes to Glacier, WA. Please check the WTA schedule ahead of time, as service can be limited. Once you arrive in Glacier, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service, as public transport does not operate directly to Mt. Baker Ski Area. Expect to pay for the bus fare and any taxi fees separately.
