Car
If you are starting from the center of The Blue Mountains, head southwest on Main St toward Green St. Turn left onto State Route 219 (SR-219) and follow the signs for US-97. Merge onto US-97 N and continue for about 30 miles. Take the exit for OR-126 E toward Redmond. After about 20 miles, merge onto OR-20 E. Continue on OR-20 E for approximately 15 miles. Finally, take a left onto Forest Road 16 and follow the signs to Mt Washington. Note that there may be a small fee for parking at the trailhead.
Public Transportation
Starting from The Blue Mountains, take the local bus service to reach the nearest major transit hub. Depending on the schedule, you may need to transfer buses at the nearest city (likely Bend). From there, catch a bus heading toward Sisters, Oregon. Once in Sisters, you can either arrange for a ride-share or a local shuttle service that can take you directly to Mt Washington. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as public transport options may be limited and may require prior reservations.
