Car
If you are traveling by car from The Columbia Basin, head northwest on I-90 towards Seattle. Take exit 2C for I-5 N toward Seattle. Follow I-5 N for approximately 6 miles. Take exit 169 for North 45th Street, and keep right at the fork to continue on North 45th Street. Turn left onto Fremont Avenue N, and then take a quick right onto North 36th Street. The Fremont Troll will be located on your left at Troll Ave N. Parking is available on the street or nearby lots, but be aware of any parking fees which can range from $1 to $4 per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a Greyhound or Amtrak bus from The Columbia Basin to Seattle. Once in Seattle, you can take the Link Light Rail from the University of Washington station to the Westlake station. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus. Take the Metro Bus Route 26 toward Northgate Transit Center and get off at the North 36th Street and Fremont Avenue N stop. Walk a short distance to the Fremont Troll, located at the intersection of North 36th Street and Troll Ave N. Note that the fare for the Link Light Rail is approximately $3, and Metro Bus fares are usually around $2.75.
