If you are driving from any location in The Inland Empire, start by getting onto the I-10 freeway heading east. Continue on I-10 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the exit for CA-38 N toward Big Bear Lake. Take exit 129 and merge onto CA-38 N. Follow CA-38 for about 12 miles through the San Bernardino National Forest. Once you reach the intersection with San Bernardino Peak Divide Trail, turn right onto San Bernardino Peak Divide Trail. Continue on this road for about 3 miles until you reach the parking area. From there, you will need to hike approximately 1 mile to reach the Henry Washington Survey Marker.

To reach Henry Washington Survey Marker via public transportation, take a bus from your location to the San Bernardino Transit Center. From there, catch the 'Mountain Transit' bus service that goes towards Big Bear Lake. Get off at the stop closest to CA-38, and you may need to arrange for a rideshare service or taxi to take you to San Bernardino Peak Divide Trail. Once at the trailhead, you will have to hike approximately 1 mile to reach the marker.
