    From Seattle, take I-5 North toward Everett. Merge onto US-2 East toward Snohomish. Continue on US-2 for about 25 miles. Turn left onto Mountain Loop Highway (WA-204). Follow Mountain Loop Highway for approximately 20 miles until you reach the Monte Cristo Trailhead.     If you're coming from the town of Granite Falls, head east on N Granite Ave. Continue onto E Stanley St, which becomes Mountain Loop Highway. Follow the highway for about 12 miles.
