    If you're starting from downtown Yakima, head west on Yakima Ave toward 1st St. Turn right onto 1st St and continue until you reach the Yakima Valley Museum. From there, cross the street to get onto E Yakima Ave, and continue walking. After about 1 mile, turn left onto S 16th Ave. After another half mile, you will reach the intersection with W Nob Hill Blvd. Cross Nob Hill Blvd and continue straight onto Summitview Rd. Cowiche Canyon Trail will be on your right at 12015 Summitview Rd, just past the intersection.

  • Public Transit

    To reach Cowiche Canyon Trail using public transit, start by taking Yakima Transit Bus #1 from downtown Yakima. Get off at the stop near S 16th Ave and W Nob Hill Blvd. From there, walk north on S 16th Ave until you reach W Nob Hill Blvd. After crossing the boulevard, continue straight onto Summitview Rd, and Cowiche Canyon Trail will be located on your right at 12015 Summitview Rd, about a half mile from the bus stop.
