If you are in downtown Yakima, start at the Yakima Convention Center located at 10 N 8th St. Head south on 8th St towards E Yakima Ave. Turn left onto E Yakima Ave and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach N 16th Ave. Turn right onto N 16th Ave and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Yakima Area Arboretum on your left at 1401 Arboretum Dr.

From the Yakima Transit Center located at 5 S 4th Ave, take Bus Route 1 (East Yakima). Get off at the stop at N 16th Ave and E Yakima Ave. Walk north on N 16th Ave for about 0.4 miles. The Yakima Area Arboretum will be on your right at 1401 Arboretum Dr.
