Car
From Dolly Sods Wilderness, start by heading south on FR 75 (Forest Road 75) towards the intersection with US Route 33. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto US Route 33 East and follow it for approximately 20 miles. You will pass through several small towns. After about 20 miles, take the exit for Elkins, WV (Route 219). Continue on Route 219 until you reach the junction with Railroad Avenue in Elkins. Turn left onto Railroad Avenue, and MountainRail will be on your right at 315 Railroad Ave, Elkins, WV 26241.

If you are using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus station that services the area around Dolly Sods. You may need to take a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to get to the station. Once at the bus station, find a bus that travels towards Elkins, WV. The bus ride may take several hours depending on the stops. Upon arriving in Elkins, you can either walk or take a local taxi to MountainRail located at 315 Railroad Ave, Elkins, WV 26241.
