    If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Davis, WV. Head south on US-219 S for about 1.5 miles. Then, turn onto Forest Road 75. Follow Forest Road 75 for approximately 5 miles until you reach the Blackbird Knob Trailhead. There is no entrance fee for the trailhead, but be aware that some forest service roads may require a high-clearance vehicle due to rough conditions.

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus to the nearest city with transport services, such as Elkins, WV. From Elkins, you will need to rent a car, as public transportation does not reach the trailhead. Drive from Elkins to Davis, and then follow the same directions as above from Davis to the Blackbird Knob Trailhead.
