From any point within Monongahela National Forest, navigate towards US Route 33. Depending on your starting point, you may need to take local roads to connect to US Route 33. Once on US Route 33, head east until you reach the junction with WV Route 32. Take WV Route 32 north, and continue for approximately 12 miles. You will see signs directing you to the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge entrance will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for the refuge, but be prepared for possible parking fees at specific areas.
