From the center of Elkins (for example, start at the Elkins City Hall located at 400 Davis Ave), head northwest on Davis Ave toward 5th St. Continue straight onto 5th St. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto Randolph Ave. Follow Randolph Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-219 S. Carefully cross the intersection and continue straight onto US-219 S. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto a small gravel road that leads to Bowden Cave. The cave entrance is located approximately 0.2 miles down this road.
