From the center of Elkins, head east on 3rd Street towards the intersection with Harrison Avenue. Turn left onto Harrison Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with 11th Street. Turn right onto 11th Street and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Stuart Recreation Area on your left. The park is located at approximately 38.9187° N, 79.7729° W, and is a short walk from downtown Elkins.

Start from the Elkins City Park located in downtown Elkins. Head south on the bike path that runs parallel to the river. Follow the path as it curves eastward and connects to Harrison Avenue.
