Walking
If you are in downtown Fairmont, start at the Fairmont State University campus on Locust Avenue. Head east on Locust Avenue until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left on 3rd Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Fairmont Avenue (US-250). Cross Fairmont Avenue and continue straight on 3rd Street. After a few blocks, take a right onto City View Terrace. Follow City View Terrace uphill, and you will find FIDO's Backyard on your left.

From downtown Fairmont, walk to the nearest bus stop on Fairmont Avenue. Board the bus heading towards the Fairmont Senior High School. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop near 3rd Street. From there, walk up 3rd Street and turn right onto City View Terrace. FIDO's Backyard will be on your left after a short walk.
